• Im­age Con­ver­sion: Seam­less­ly con­vert im­ages into mod­ern for­mats like WebP and AVIF. Via API or drag-and-drop (se­lect, or paste) in the web in­ter­face.

• Im­age Com­pres­sion: Ef­fort­less­ly com­press im­ages for faster load­ing and small­er file sizes.

• Sup­port­ed For­mats: Con­vert be­tween PNG, JPEG, WebP, and AVIF. We also sup­port gen­er­at­ing icons .ico files, which is rare and ex­ot­ic fea­ture.

• Op­ti­miza­tion: Re­duce im­age sizes with­out sac­ri­fic­ing qual­i­ty for faster web per­for­mance.

• Im­age Re­siz­ing: Re­size your im­ages to spe­cif­ic di­men­sions, pre­serv­ing qual­i­ty. Pre­serve as­pect ra­tio by de­fault, or crop with cus­tom di­men­sions, po­si­tions, and more op­tions.

• Im­age Gallery: Cre­ate and man­age cu­rat­ed gal­leries to or­ga­nize your im­ages.

  • Se­cure­ly up­load and store your im­ages in the cloud us­ing Cloud­flare R2, en­sur­ing re­li­a­bil­i­ty and scal­a­bil­i­ty.
  • Bring Your Own Buck­et: For ad­vanced users, at­tach your own cloud stor­age buck­et to the ap­pli­ca­tion for ul­ti­mate flex­i­bil­i­ty.

• Buck­ets: Man­age and ac­cess your im­age stor­age buck­ets through the SnapiX in­ter­face. For now we sup­port: Cloud­flare R2, Google Cloud Stor­age, AWS S3, and MinIO. • API In­te­gra­tion: Au­to­mate and in­te­grate SnapiX ca­pa­bil­i­ties di­rect­ly into your work­flows with a pow­er­ful and flex­i­ble API.

• MCP Serv­er In­te­gra­tion: Con­nect SnapiX di­rect­ly to AI as­sis­tants like Claude, VS Code Copi­lot, and oth­er LLM tools us­ing the Mod­el Con­text Pro­to­col. Our MCP serv­er en­ables AI agents to up­load, con­vert, gen­er­ate, and man­age im­ages and gal­leries pro­gram­mat­i­cal­ly - all through nat­ur­al lan­guage. Avail­able as an npm pack­age or via our host­ed end­point. See the MCP doc­u­men­ta­tion for set­up in­struc­tions.

• Im­age Gen­er­a­tion (Pow­ered by Gem­i­ni API): This fea­ture is avail­able ex­clu­sive­ly through the ded­i­cat­ed Gen­er­ate API. It en­ables you to cre­ate blog post cov­er im­ages by com­bin­ing a re­quired prompt with an op­tion­al im­age tem­plate. The tem­plate can guide style or lay­out, while the prompt pro­vides the main in­put for gen­er­a­tion.

  Gen­er­at­ed im­ages are then au­to­mat­i­cal­ly re­sized, con­vert­ed to the de­sired for­mat, and up­loaded to ob­ject stor­age ac­cord­ing to your set­tings. Here is an ex­am­ple ho we are us­ing this fea­ture to gen­er­ate blog post cov­er im­ages: SnapiX Blog Sto­ry.

  We don’t pro­vide a web in­ter­face for im­age gen­er­a­tion, as Google al­ready of­fers one for free at Google AI Stu­dio.

Note on cred­its & stor­age:

• Up­load­ing im­ages via the web in­ter­face to the de­fault buck­et costs 0 App cred­its, but still con­sumes your stor­age space.

• Up­load­ing im­ages to a user-pro­vid­ed buck­et costs 1 App cred­it per im­age, but comes with no space lim­i­ta­tions.

• Up­load­ing via the API al­ways con­sumes App cred­it(s), re­gard­less of the buck­et.

• The im­age gen­er­a­tion costs 40 App cred­it plus one or more cred­its for the im­age pro­cess­ing.

Shar­ing Be­hav­ior Clar­i­fi­ca­tions

1. De­fault Pub­lic Buck­et: When you up­load im­ages to SnapiX's de­fault Cloud­flare R2 buck­et (which is pub­lic), any di­rect link you share will al­ways ren­der the im­age for any­one with the link.
2. Cus­tom Buck­et Pri­va­cy: If you at­tach your own stor­age buck­et, shar­ing be­hav­ior fol­lows your buck­et's ac­cess set­tings. Im­ages in non-pub­lic buck­ets will not ap­pear in the SnapiX web in­ter­face or load via di­rect links un­less your buck­et per­mis­sions al­low it.
3. Gallery Shar­ing Scope: When you share a gallery link, re­cip­i­ents gain ac­cess to the full gallery overview and each in­di­vid­ual im­age page with­in that gallery. There is no op­tion to share a stand­alone page for a sin­gle im­age out­side of a gallery con­text.
